Loch Katrine
This very picturesque loch set amongst the mountains is an ideal day out. Take a relaxing trip on the 100 year old steamer SS Sir Walter Scott, or the more adventurous can cycle around the loch.
Lake of Menteith
Visit the only lake in Scotland and take a short boat trip to the largest of the lake's three islands where you can visit the ruins of a 13th centry Augustinian monastery. This 700 acre lake boasts arguably the finest rainbow trout water in Scotland, and is an ideal location for a picnic.
