  • Stirling Castle and Palace
    No trip to Stirling would be complete without a visit to this historic castle and its restored Great Hall. Visitor events include watching weaving of wall hangings.

  • The National Wallace Monument
    Ascend the 246 steps and you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Forth valley. The tower contains interactive displays celebrating William Wallace's life and you can even view Wallace’s infamous sword who's hilt is bound with Sir Hugh de Cressingham’s skin.
     
  • Site of the Battle of Bannockburn
    Explore the atmospheric battleground where King Robert the Bruce fought the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. The heritage centre has audio visual displays and tea room.
     
  • Doune Castle
    Built in the late 1300s, this castle was one of the key sets from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. A fascinating labyrinth of rooms, interconnecting passageways and a renovated Great Hall, make this attraction well worth a visit.
     
  • Castle Campbell
    Overlooked by the Ochil Hills, Castle Campbell was the chief lowland stronghold of the Campbell clan. Visitors can take advantage of the stunning scenery and tranquil location by taking a stroll around Dollar Glen.
